Las Posadas/Posadas
Las Posadas es una tradición de México y algunos otros países de Latinoamérica. Tienen como fin ayudar a prepararse para la Navidad. Comienzan el 16 de diciembre y terminan el 24 de diciembre, víspera de Navidad.
En nuestra parroquia, la comunidad esa noche se divide en dos grupos: los peregrinos y los hosteleros. Los peregrinos acompañan a María y José y tocan la puerta pidiendo posada. Los hosteleros se quedan dentro del templo y niegan la posada una y otra vez, hasta que reconocen que quienes buscan refugio son María y José, los dejan entrar y les dan acogida con cantos. Después de esto nos reunimos como comunidad para el rezo del rosario seguido de un compartir con una merienda ligera.
Las Posadas comienzan el 16 de diciembre hasta el 24 de diciembre, todos los días, a las 7pm en la Iglesia. (Por favor chequee el boletín en este sitio para más información) Estas terminan con el Arrullo del Niño.
Para el arrullo del Niño Dios, una familia de la parroquia presta un bebé que representa a Jesús, y al concluir la Misa del 24 a la medianoche, lo pasan a través de toda la comunidad en un manto, arrullándolo, para que duerma.
El objetivo de todas estas tradiciones tan simbólicas es simplemente meditar y sumergirnos en el misterio de la Navidad, acercarnos más a Jesús, al amor de Dios visible en su Hijo único para salvación de todos los hombres.
Posadas is a Mexican tradition and its also from some other countries in Latinoamerica. Its goal is to help to prepare for Christmas. They start on December 16 and end on December 24, on Chistmas' Eve.
In our parish, the community that night divides into two groups: the pilgrims and the innkeepers. The pilgrims accompany Mary and Joseph and knock at the door asking for posada. The innkeepers stay inside the church and denied them posada again and again, until they recognized that the ones seeking shelter are Mary and Joseph. They let them in and receive them warmly and with song. After this we get together as a community to pray the rosary followed by a small reception and sharing.
Posadas start on December 16 until December 24, everyday, at 7 pm in the Church. (Please check the bulletin on this site for more information) Posadas end with the Arrullo of Baby God.
For the arrullo of Baby God, a parish family lend a baby that represent Jesus, and when Mass end on the 24 at midnight, the baby is cuddled in a cloth, through the whole community.
The objective of all these traditions so full of symbolism is simply to meditate and immerse ourselves in the mystery of Christmas, get closer to Jesus, to God's love visible in his only Son for the salvation of all humankind.
