THE SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST
Bread and wine are a symbol of the gift we have receive from God, since the Old Testament (see Gn 14, 18) and they go deeper in that meaning through all the history until they reach the climactic moment, when Christ choose those symbols as realization of his presence among us forever. The bread and wine, once consecrated, are now the real and live presence of Christ in our personal and communitarian life (see Mc 14,12-25). Requirements:
​
· The ideal is that kids participate in the whole Religious Education program (In other words, since pre-K until 8th grade) and then be part of the Youth Group (High School) and then Young Adults.

· If the person is older than 9 years, he/she must participate in the RCIA program in which parents and godparents will join. Please contact Yesenia Pilar at (517) 214-6441 for more information.
PRIMERA COMUNION

El pan y el vino son símbolo de los dones recibidos de Dios, desde el Antiguo Testamento (referencia Gn 14, 18) y van profundizando ese significado a lo largo de toda la historia hasta llegar al momento culmen, cuando Cristo elige esos signos como realización de su presencia entre nosotros para siempre. El pan y el vino, una vez consagrados, son ahora la presencia viva y real de Cristo en nuestra vida personal y comunitaria (referencia Mc 14, 12-25). Requisitos:

· Lo ideal es que los niños participen en el programa completo de Educación Religiosa, es decir, desde pre K hasta el grado 8 y luego ser parte del Grupo de Jóvenes (Preparatoria) y luego de Jóvenes Adultos.
