St. Vincent de Paul Society
Founded in 1833, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide organization of lay Catholics, following Christ’s call to serve the poor, the suffering, and the deprived.
Our founding activity, still practiced today, is the Home Visit. Through these visits, Vincentian members establish personal relationships with our neighbors in need, not only providing material assistance such as rent, utilities, food, or clothing, but also offering friendship, understanding, and prayer.
As Christians, we believe in the teaching of Jesus, "whatever you did for this the least of my brothers or sisters, you did it for me". By attending the needs of those less fortunate of our community we are serving Jesus himself.

Fundada en 1833, la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul es una organización mundial de laicos católicos, que siguen la llamada de Cristo a servir a los pobres, a los que sufren, y a los marginados.
Una de las actividades de cuando fue fundada, que todavía se practica hoy, es la visita a las casas. A través de estas visitas, los miembros establecen relaciones personales con nuestros vecinos en necesidad, no solo ofreciendo asistencia material como renta, utilidades, comida, o ropa, pero también ofreciendo amistad, entendimiento, y oración.
Como cristianos, creemos en la enseñanza de Jesús, "lo que hicieron por uno de estos mis hermanos, lo hicieron por mí". Al atender las necesidades de aquellos menos afortunados de nuestra comunidad estamos sirviendo al mismo Jesús.
